Information for parents

Is ergotherapy a suitable treatment for your child?

Your therapist
Pan Bartkowiak

Discovering the world together, finding your role and strength in it, has always been my passion when working with children. It started with playing theater together and giving children a stage where they can develop safely, and it has evolved into a therapeutic setting of empowerment.

Since then, I have had the privilege of guiding many families with help requests such as:

  • dealing with over- or under-stimulation
  • finding the strength behind neurodiversity (ADHD, AuDHD, ASD)
  • regaining trust in the world after PTSD and trauma
  • finding my place after my parents' divorce
  • my environment limits me (housing adaptations for wheelchair use, interior advice, ...)
  • how can I best lift and move my child?

For me, conditions for the treatment of children include the commitment of the parents to be part of the therapy. Your child is part of the family system, hence I always involve the parents in the treatment.
